Complete corresponding source of the ffmpeg in Home Media Hub
=============================================================

sources/ The exact upstream tarballs, unmodified: ffmpeg, x264, dav1d, zlib.
build-ffmpeg.sh The script that built them. It checks each tarball against ffmpeg/sources.txt.
ffmpeg/ The checksums, the Windows toolchain's Dockerfile, the notice that ships with the binaries.
VERSION The Home Media Hub version this archive went with.

To build:

  ./build-ffmpeg.sh windows-x64 Docker, on any host. The toolchain is pinned in ffmpeg/Dockerfile.windows-x64.
  ./build-ffmpeg.sh macos-arm64 An Apple silicon Mac with the Xcode command line tools, and
                                   meson, ninja and pkg-config (brew install meson ninja pkg-config).

The results are in .ffmpeg-build/out/<target>/: ffmpeg, ffprobe, LICENSE.txt, SOURCE.txt and licenses/.
To use a changed build with Home Media Hub, replace ffmpeg and ffprobe in the runtime's ffmpeg folder.

Licence: the build is GPL version 2 or later (--enable-gpl, no --enable-version3, no --enable-nonfree).
ffmpeg's own licence text and terms are in each tarball. Nothing was changed from upstream: there are
no patches. Home Media Hub's own server code is not part of this source and isn't covered by the GPL:
it runs ffmpeg and ffprobe as separate programs and doesn't link them.

The compiler is not included. On Windows it is llvm-mingw 20261020 (ffmpeg/Dockerfile.windows-x64 has
its URL and checksum), and the runtime code it links (mingw-w64 CRT, compiler-rt) is under
permissive licences, in the output's licenses/ folder. On macOS it is Apple's clang, linking the system
libraries only.
