License and terms of use
Effective November 3, 2026. What $100 buys you, and the terms Home Media Hub is sold under.
Acceptance
By installing, accessing, or using Home Media Hub, you agree to these terms. If you’re agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you’re authorized to bind it.
License
In exchange for the $100 purchase price, DWMM Holdings grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Home Media Hub on one computer at a time that you own or control, running macOS, Windows or Linux, as a Home Media Hub server. The license is for the person or organization that buys it, to run on computers it owns or controls. The people you let use your server don’t need a license of their own. It isn’t transferable, and you may not share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute it or its key. The server is activated once, by entering the key in Home Media Hub Manager on that computer, which contacts the activation service only while the server is being activated. After that the license is checked on the server itself and needs no further connection. It doesn’t expire, and a server that has been activated keeps its license whatever happens to the activation service or to DWMM Holdings. You may move the license to another computer by releasing its seat; a key can release three seats in any 30 days.
The web app your server serves, and Home Media Hub for iPhone, are free. Subject to these terms, anyone you let use your server may use them with it, on any device they own or control, without a key.
A second server at the same time. One is the limit. A key can give back three seats in any 30 days, which covers replacing a computer but not moving one key around a fleet.
Hosting it for other people. Running Home Media Hub as a service for customers needs a separate arrangement. Ask.
Redistribution. The license lets you run it. It doesn’t let you publish, resell or bundle it, or share your key. That’s Home Media Hub’s own software: the ffmpeg it includes is yours to redistribute under its own license.
A promise about version 2. If there’s ever a paid upgrade, it’ll be explained when it happens, and it won’t disable the version you already bought.
Price, payment and delivery
Home Media Hub is sold for $100, paid once. There’s no subscription, and there’s no second charge.
Stripe handles payment. You enter your card details on Stripe’s checkout page and Stripe processes them. DWMM Holdings never sees, receives or stores them.
The license takes effect when payment completes. Delivery means the key shown on the page you return to after paying, and sent to the email address you give at checkout; it’s your responsibility to give an address that works. The software itself is downloaded from this site.
Prices are in USD. Any sales tax, VAT, or similar tax that applies where you live is added at checkout by the payment processor and shown before you pay.
Refunds
If it doesn’t work for you, ask within 30 days and you’ll be refunded. You don’t need a reason, and there’s no form to fill in or anything to prove. The full policy is a separate document in this section, and it applies wherever these terms are less specific.
ffmpeg
Home Media Hub’s desktop builds include ffmpeg and ffprobe. These are free software from the FFmpeg project, under their own license, and aren’t part of what’s licensed to you above. The server starts them as separate programs.
Nothing in these terms, and no license key, applies to them: you may run, copy, change and redistribute them under their own license, with or without a key, and the limits in these terms don’t restrict that. If these terms and that license ever disagree about them, that license wins.
That license covers copyright. Neither it nor these terms grant any patent rights. The open-source notice in this section says which license applies and where to get the source.
What you can’t do
Don’t use Home Media Hub to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, or against a system you aren’t authorized to access.
Don’t remove or hide proprietary notices, and don’t present the product as your own work.
Don’t try to get around a security control, a rate limit, or a license check.
Ownership
DWMM Holdings keeps all right, title, and interest in Home Media Hub, including its source code, design, and marks. Anything you create with it belongs to you.
Third-party services
If the product works with a third-party service, your use of that service is governed by that provider’s terms. Its availability and pricing are outside our control.
Warranty and liability
Home Media Hub is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It’s released and usable today, but there’s no warranty that it’s free of errors.
Software that moves files can lose them. Home Media Hub is built not to: it stages and checkpoints transfers, verifies them with BLAKE3, and refuses to overwrite files. None of that is a warranty. Keep a copy of anything you can’t afford to lose, as you would for any transfer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DWMM Holdings's total liability arising out of or relating to Home Media Hub is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is $100.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DWMM Holdings isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the product. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and termination
These terms may be updated. Material changes are posted here with a new effective date. Your license ends if you stop using the product or materially breach these terms.
